This is a very nice compact desk. It has tempered glass shelves and an overall modern look to it. The only negative is that the tubes had metal shavings inside. Also, the ends of the tubes had an unfinished look to them. They looked like they just left the machine shop with being buffed out at the ends. So the ends were a little rigged and sharp. Overall, the desk was easy to put together and ended up looking very nice. Lots of shelf space for games, accessories, paperwork, etc.

I was afraid that the desk would be a piece of junk because the price was so low and wished I could have seen it in person before I purchased. But I decided that since the price was indeed so low I would take a chance. What a pleasant surprise! The desk was easy to assemble and seems to be quite sturdy. And we love it's contemporary style in our home. Someone was thinking when tey designed this desk. Far superior to all the more expensive choices of synthetic wood that offgas in your home before they soon become landfill.
