We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. After reading the reviews I understood that the drawer capacity was at a minimum. After assembly I find the drawers space could be improved if deeper but there are 2 small drawers in the hutch and it still is a great buy and very sturdy. I presume that is why it is classified as a student desk. Knowing this I would recommend the items because you have lots of table top space so with a file cabinet the desk and hutch work and look great.

Awesome desk! Beautiful, simple and elegant design (Cherry). Solid construction except for the Drawers. Disappointed with the plywood base of the drawers. Why cut corner for such a small but important item when the rest of the desk is such superior quality?
But overall I highly recommend this desk especially if you have limited space. Fits perfectly yet has ample desktop space. Ideal for a small home office footprint with a laptop yet plenty of room for writing.

I needed a small desk to put in our kitchen for paying bills and to set up my laptop. I liked the simplistic design of this hutch and desk. Desk is wood and sturdy construction. Two desk drawers are small but will hold pens, writing paper, bills. Desk drawers are on gliders that stop drawers from coming all the way out, which is good. Hutch two drawers are very small and do not have gliders. The hutch drawers too easily pull all the way out, so you have to be careful when opening these two.
