DMI manufactures Home Styles products and has become a leader in the industry of their primary product lines, including home office and computer workstations; desk chairs; commercial office furniture collections; casual lifestyle furniture; and collections of better quality, wood residential furniture. DMI has been in operation since 1911.
With headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, DMI owns and operates two furniture production plants, a logging operation, a saw mill, dimension parts plant, and a component part fabrication facility - all located in southern Indiana. Their import sources include many factories throughout Asia. They maintain full-time administrative offices in Mainland China and Thailand from which they oversee the design, packaging and inspection of proprietary furniture component parts and products that are imported for distribution.
We offer the full line of Home Styles furniture, including TV stands, home seating, and occasional furniture. All Home Styles products are carefully constructed in classic and traditional designs. We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." This was meant to be a bedroom study desk for a college student. Mainly, it needed to be big enough for a laptop and books and paperwork to be spread out a bit, and for that it fits the bill. I felt the construction was quite solid, but more attention to detail could have been paid to the drawers. The drawers do not glide very well, the screws were not fully flush for the drawer rails, and the drawers have small pits and abrasions on them that detract from the overall beauty of the piece. If I'd purchased this locally, I'd probably have exchanged it, but it's not terrible or overly noticeable.

I had unsuccessfully searched for a desk like this in numerous furniture stores. I took a gamble and ordered this one sight unseen, but I was extremely pleased with it. I received it within a few days after ordering, and it was well packed so there was no damage. The style, color, and finish blended perfectly with the other more expensive cherry furniture in the room. Best part was the price! I really have no complaints whatsoever.

It's a great desk for a small space. Enough room for my laptop, paper work and a lamp. The two sliding draws are a plus. The only negative: there are about 25 pin hole marks on the surface of the desk. It doesn't take away from the function of the desk but it bothers me that they're there.
