Thank goodness I did not have to assemble this product. My office mates decided to do it as a surprise while I was out sick. TONS of pieces, horrible directions and a very low quality end product. After using it for about a week or so, one of the screws holding the keyboard sliding drawer fell out so my keyboard is now lopsided. It's not real wood and scratches very easily.

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I use this desk every day. the color the well bult of this product makes it purfect. it could use a nother draw but over all it is a very good product.I bougth this desk for my husband and he love it thank you.

I use this in my home "office" where it houses a desktop and laptop. There is enough room with both of these to have a writing space because of the L. The fiberboard construction is much better than cheap swedish furniture, though if you are looking for real wood this is not a bad substitute as it looks quite good. The main drawback is a lack of space for pens, etc. There is one small drawer about 8" wide but barely fits a stapler, tape, stamps, etc. Anyway, great value.

There is ZERO real wood in this product. It is %100 particle board with paper veneers. If I wanted something of this quality I'd get it at[...] for a third of the price. Not Recommended.

Professional and Contemporary Desk

The main reason it is probably difficult to put this desk together is because the instructions only come with pictures (no written words). Every piece is matched by numbers (and there are a WHOLE LOT of pieces). Despite the numerous pieces, if you are a spacially aware person, and a person who pays attention to detail you should be okay putting this together. I could see where people may struggle in building this desk on their own. It's nice how the computer hides in it's own confined space, but at the same time it's really hot in there. I will probably eventually remove the rear panel to keep everything cooler. For now I've just been leaving the front door open. Nevertheless, the hide-away computer and keyboard/mouse tray that hides away promote a very clean and professional looking desk.

I was called before they came and we arranged a preferred date to meet. I had them deliver at my job since I'm at work all the time. If you do something similar be sure to have a pick-up truck (cuz the box is big), and be sure you have a friend to help you carry it (cuz it's really heavy ~180 lbs.). I had a couple of pieces that were damaged due to the delivery (it happens), but was able to get replacements very easily through the manufacturer. I just built my desk with my damaged pieces, and replaced them when my parts came in (really simple).

Delivery was not to my house but to a location about a mile away! Additional charges applied to get it to my home. Customer service was helpful and prompt but the product was not the quality I expected for the price.

All in all, great product for the price. Only main con is that the part of the desk that is supposed to hold the computer tower is not well ventilated and may cause your computer to overheat unless you have the door open all the time.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I will NEVER order from Bush again. When my product arrived almost 2 weeks after the order was placed, 4 of the boards were damaged due to careless handling. It was bad enough that the shipping company couldnt do their job right, when I called Bush customer service they told me that I would have to pay to replace the boards that were damaged. After 10 minutes of pleading and arguing, they finally agreed to take responsibility and replace the damaged boards. From that day, it took another 2.5 weeks to finally get the rest of my desk. Over a month from the time I placed the order. Bush furniture and Yellow shipping are a bad combination to do business with.

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great desk, looks very contemporary and is rather functional. Just plan a good 4 hours to put it together.
